Instructor - Nelly Ribot

I am an English teacher and Head of the English Department in a K-12 school. I live in Trenque Lauquen, Argentina, and have taught English as a Second Language in Buenos Aires and Trenque Lauquen to students of all levels, ranging from 3-year-old kindergarten students to adults.

Before my present job, I worked as a pedagogical assessor for other English teachers, helping them plan class work, project work and assessment, sitting in on their classes and giving feedback, suggesting different approaches to second language teaching /learning, assessing their work and my own.
I am also a teacher at a public Teachers' Training College and lead seminars and workshops on Differentiating Instruction and Multiple Intelligences for ESL teachers.

The subjects I teach at College are British History & Literature, Methodology for Teaching English as a Second/Foreign language and Phonetics.
I have coached several WIDE online courses, including Multiple Intelligences, Differentiating Instruction: Strategies for English Language Learners, TfU 1 & 2, Teaching to Standards with New Technologies and the Coach Development Course (both in English and Spanish), and instructed the Multiple Intelligences and Differentiating Instruction: Strategies for English Language Learners courses. I am the mother of two wonderful girls, aged 15 and 10.
